I am able to provide my clients with a wide range of consulting services to meet the requirements of the building regulations.

I have adopted PAS79 (Publicly Available Specification for Fire Risk Assessment and its Methodology), issued by the British Standards Institute, so you can be assured that the assessment you receive from me is fully compliant with current fire safety legislation.

Ensuring that this assessment is performed by a ‘competent’ person is important, both for the safety of your staff and for legislative compliance. I have real industry experience, gleaned from years of service as a Fire Safety Enforcement Officer in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring your fire risk assessment is both compliant and practical in terms of applying fire safety practices to your workplace.

I can provide a thorough and compliant fire risk assessment to any type of premises, from schools, offices, flats, new builds and anywhere that provides sleeping accommodation.

I can additionally advise as to any remedial action that may be required by law, providing training where needed.

For the convenience of your staff, I am able to carry out courses on site. These will cover all aspects of fire safety responsibility, from first actions upon discovering a blaze to organising a safe and efficient evacuation, the bespoke training is performed by myself a highly trained experienced fire safety expert.

Having a trained fire marshal on site is not only important for safety, it is a legal requirement, with a qualified person or persons needed to carry out regular premise’s checks.
